Timamy amkosoa Marubu kwa kujitenga na UDA: 'Ungeondoka bila kunichafulia jina'

GAVANA wa Lamu, Issa Timamy amemsuta Mbunge Mwakilishi wa Wanawake eneo hilo, Bi Muthoni Monica Marubu kwa kutangaza kukatiza uhusiano wake na chama tawala cha UDA. Jumanne, Bi Marubu aliuandikia barua uongozi wa chama hicho kutangaza kukatiza ushirika wake kutokana na kile alichodai ni kudhalilishwa, kudharauliwa na kutatizwa na Bw Timamy ambaye pia ndiye Naibu Kiongozi wa UDA. Kwenye barua hiyo ambayo alimwandikia rasmi Bw Timamy na pia kumtumia mwenyekiti wa bodi ya uchaguzi wa UDA, Bw Anthony Mwaura, Bi Marubu alimlalamikia gavana Timamy kwa kuendeleza ubaguzi peupe. Bi Marubu alitaja mwezi Aprili mwaka huu ambapo alipewa jukumu la kutafuta ufuasi wa chama cha UDA eneo la Lamu wakati uchaguzi wa mashinani ulipokuwa ukiandaliwa. "Licha ya mimi kwamba si mwanachama wa UDA kwani nilichaguliwa mbunge kupitia tiketi ya mgombea huru, nilitii amri ya Rais Ruto na kuendeleza kampeni za kutafuta ufuasi wa chama ambacho hata hakikuwa na kiongozi yeyote aliyechaguliwa kupitia UDA Lamu 2022," akalalamika. Aliongeza, "Gavana nilijaribu kukupigia simu mara sita lakini hukupokea wala kunijibu lolote. Miezi mitatu nikaendeleza kampeni za mashinani tukisajili wafuasi wa UDA. Ila uchaguzi ulipoandaliwa mashinani baadaye hukuufurahia." Bi Marubu aliweka wazi kwamba uhusiano kati yake na Bw Timamy ni mgumu, hivyo ni vyema kwake akatize ushirikiano wake na chama hicho tawala. "Kwa sababu wewe ni Naibu Kiongozi wa chama, pokea hili kutoka kwangu, kwamba kuanzia leo nimekatiza ushirika wowote kati yangu na UDA. Hutaniona mimi na wafuasi wangu tukijihusisha na mikutano ya UDA. Hata wale wafuasi ambao mimi niliwaandikisha kwenye rejista ya chama unaweza kuwafuta na utafute wako binafsi kuwasajili," akasema Bi Marubu. Akimjibu Bi Marubu, Bw Timamy alimtaka mbunge huyo kukoma kumchafulia jina, akitaja lalama zake kuwa zisizo na ukweli wowote. Bw Timamy alishikilia kuwa Bi Marubu alikuwa akitafuta tu sababu za kujiondoa kwenye chama hicho cha UDA, chama ambacho hata (Marubu) si mwanachama bado. "Kwa nini afanye hivyo kwa kunichafulia jina? Madai yote aliyoweka kwenye barua hayana msingi wala ukweli wowote. Kenya ni nchi ya demokrasia. Tunasikitika kwamba amejiondoa UDA, ila tunaheshimu maamuzi yake. Cha msingi kwake ni kwamba afahamu UDA itasalia kuwa imara, yenye nguvu na umaarufu," akasema Bw Timamy. Tangazo la Bi Marubu hata hivyo limepokelewa kwa hisia mseto na wakazi wa Lamu. Kiongozi wa vuguvugu la vijana la Lamu, Bw Issack Yunus alimpongeza Bi Marubu kwa maamuzi yake akisema watamuunga mkono kumchagua wadhfa wowote atawania kwenye uchaguzi mkuu ujao wa 2027. "Sisi tulimchagua 2022 kuwa Mbunge Mwakilishi wa Wanawake kama mgombea huru. Kujitenga na chama cha UDA ni sawa. Yeye ni kiongozi mzuri. Tutamchagua bado. Sisi hatuangalii chama, tunamwangalia yeye kama kiongozi mchapakazi," akasema Bw Yunus. Naye Bi Nancy Mugo alitaja hatua ya Bi Marubu kujiondoa UDA kuwa mwanzo na mwisho wa kuanguka kwake. "Tumesalia na mwaka mmoja pekee kujitosa uchaguzini ilhali yeye ameanza kuruka huku na kule. Sidhani atachaguliwa tena," akasema Bi Mugo.
